1. What FaceELO is

FaceELO is a service where verified users compare pairs of profiles and vote on relative attractiveness. Each profile receives a private rating score visible only to its owner. By creating an account you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

2. You must be 18 or older

FaceELO is strictly for adults. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, if higher) to create an account or use the service in any way. We verify age by date of birth at signup and we terminate accounts we believe belong to minors, without notice and without refund.

3. Your profile and photos

• You may only upload photos of yourself.
• A profile requires exactly four photos: a front-facing photo, a left profile, a right profile, and a selfie.
• Nothing may cover your face: no glasses, sunglasses, hats, masks, heavy filters, or other obstructions. Religious garments such as hijabs are permitted.
• Profiles must pass verification, which includes a live selfie captured through your camera and compared against your photos.
• Impersonation, uploading photos of another person, or attempting to defeat verification results in permanent account termination.

4. How your photos are used

Your photos are shown, without your name or any identifying details, to other verified users in head-to-head matchups for voting. Your rating score is never shown to anyone but you. By uploading photos you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display them solely to operate the service.

5. Acceptable use

• No scraping, downloading, or redistributing other users' photos.
• No automated voting, bots, or vote manipulation.
• No harassment of other users, on or off the platform.
• No attempts to identify, contact, or expose other users.

6. Premium purchase

Premium is a one-time purchase billed through Stripe. It is not a subscription and does not renew. It unlocks premium features on your account for as long as your account and the service exist; the exact set of premium features may evolve over time. Deleting your account forfeits access. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.

7. Termination and deletion

You can delete your account at any time from Settings, which permanently removes your photos, verification data, votes-received history, and score. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

8. Disclaimers

Attractiveness ratings are subjective opinions of other users, provided for entertainment. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in the app; continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
